Sermon
Thy Will Be Done
St. Vitus, when he was just a child, was trained in the Catholic Faith by the servants of his household and St. Basil was always in the company of saints, among his family and friends. They both exemplify the importance of surrounding ourselves and our children with good and holy examples to lead them to sanctity.
St. Paul said that he wishes that all would live a life of chastity. We are all called to live chastely according to our state in life. We must train our children to pray without ceasing, and to live with their minds and hearts in Heaven. If we remain detached from worldly goods, docile to God’s Will, it becomes easier to remain always prayerful. If we are forever humble and repentant, we will be the lamb carried home on Our Lord’s shoulders.
